Whether you’re pursuing opportunities in community development, transportation planning, environmental planning, real estate and land development, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis, public policy, or neighborhood revitalization, the Wilder School offers the training you need to thrive. Students gain real-world experience through service-learning projects, client-based planning studios, and community partnerships across Richmond, throughout Virginia, and with federal agencies in Washington, D.C. You’ll apply planning theory and methods to real projects— developing market analyses, land-use plans, transit-oriented development strategies, neighborhood revitalization plans, and more.
