The event will be moderated by Robyn Diehl McDougle, Ph.D. (M.S.’00, Ph.D.’03), Wilder School associate professor and associate dean of research and outreach.

About the speaker

Bob Holsworth, Ph.D., is frequently called on and referenced for his insights as a political analyst. He is managing partner of DecideSmart and the founding director of the Wilder School. His comments on Virginia and national politics have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post and newspapers throughout the nation. He has appeared on the major U.S. TV networks and the BBC. He was named one of the 100 Influentials in Virginia Politics by Campaigns and Elections magazine.

About the moderator

Robyn Diehl McDougle, Ph.D., focuses on program evaluation, project impact and the impact of violent crime on youth and community development. Her research involves working with service-based organizations and law enforcement agencies to evaluate the efficacy of programs for residents in communities experience high levels of violent crime. She has worked with local and state correctional agencies on effective prisoner re-entry programs and helped create a nationally recognized jailers academy internship program. McDougle has conducted training in leadership, stress management and death investigation for law enforcement and public safety organizations locally, nationally and globally.
