Rajendra Pandit

Rajendra Pandit is a doctoral candidate at Wilder School, and he holds a master's degree in economics from the UK. His research passion lies in small business survival strategies, with a focus on entrepreneurship and productivity. With a background as a central banker, Rajendra has experience in macroeconomic policy and quantitative analysis. He was awarded a prestigious medal by the President of Nepal for his outstanding service to the country. Currently, Rajendra is expanding his studies to include knowledge of social justice, particularly racial and gender equity.

  • Experienced central banker and research economist with strong proficiency in macroeconomic policy design and implementation. Strong analytical skill and good knowledge that helped me made valuable contributions to household budget survey, poverty reduction program at the Central Bank and budget preparation at the Ministry of Finance. 
  • With Master degree in Economics from UK, led to adding value in achieving organizational goal or workplace, creative, positive and self motivated- prepared first ever GNDI series in the country; have good communication skills as gained from the role of spokesperson of the central bank. 
  • Awarded by a prestigious medal and honor from the president of Nepal for contributing country's economic development through outstanding service in financial sector services.
